I'm having the worst time trying to figure out whether my machine supports PCI-e or not. I think it should, since it's got a new CPU and 2.5Gb RAM. But lspci and dmesg were not much help, and "absence of evidence is not evidence of absence". So it would be very practical to have a list of popular technologies and just "Yes" or "No" for whether they are supported. Other technologies that come to mind are 64-bit CPU, 5.1 surround sound, FireWire, USB, LPT, DVI and RAID.

I think this is a nice feature. I'll add it to the TODO list.
